Who we are

Freela Consciente is a financial education project dedicated to people who live on variable income — freelancers, independent workers, self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs.

Most financial advice is written for people who receive a fixed paycheck every month. Anyone who lives off projects, contracts and clients knows a different reality: full months, empty months, late payments, and the difficult task of planning without knowing exactly how much is coming in.

Our proposal is simple: to offer financial knowledge built for that reality.

"No jargon, no guilt and no miracle promises — just practical, transparent methods that adapt to your pace."

The Freela Consciente commitment
Our purpose

Why we exist

Our purpose is to transform the independent worker's relationship with money: from a source of anxiety into an area of control. Millions of professionals live off their own talent and still carry a constant sense of instability — not because they earn little, but because they lack predictability. Freela Consciente exists to change that.

Variable income doesn't mean an unstable life

With the right method, it's possible to plan, save and grow even without a fixed paycheck.

Financial education is for everyone

You don't need to be an investment expert to have control over your own money.

Every path is unique

Our content respects the size of your debt, the pace of your routine and the reality of your country.

The challenge

What people with variable income face

Independent workers face challenges that salaried employees never encounter:

Income that swings from month to month, with no predictability

Clients who pay late

No fixed salary, year-end bonus or paid vacation

Personal and professional finances blending together, making it hard to see your real results

Difficulty planning investments and reserves without a stable base

The problem isn't a lack of discipline. It's the lack of a method built for variable income — and that's exactly what Freela Consciente offers.
Our approach

What we do

Freela Consciente turns proven principles of financial organization into practical methods for independent work. Our approach rests on three pillars:

Clarity

Understanding where your money goes before trying to change anything.

Method

Simple systems, built on averages, ranges and reserves, that keep working even in a slow month.

Sustainability

Consistent habits that keep the results going long-term, with no permanent sacrifice.

The result: professionals who stop living in survival mode and start building stability with what they already earn.

Credibility

Who's behind it

Freela Consciente is led by Cyntia C Santos, an independent professional with over 12 years of experience producing and coordinating high-complexity cultural projects.

Holding a degree in Legal Sciences, she specializes in incentive laws and cultural funding calls, and has served as administrative director of Hajalume Produções since 2014 and executive director of Candeia Produções since 2017. Her career stands out for its versatility — spanning general coordination, administrative and financial management, graphic design and photography.

Over more than a decade as a cultural producer and freelancer, she has led music, circus, audiovisual and exhibition projects for institutions such as CCBB, Caixa Cultural, SESI and SMC/RJ — among them Caravana Musical nas Escolas, Canções da Floresta do Amazonas, Hip Hop Machine 3, FIMA, Quadrilátero, Circo no Museu, Musicar, Voz Negra em 3 Gerações, 50 Anos de MPB, Festival Internacional Tango Brasil and the Exposição John Graz Viajante.

It was that hands-on experience with variable income — combined with years of studying self-knowledge and independent career management — that led her to write Freedom Without Overwhelm, bringing together her legal background and field experience into an accessible methodology for financial organization for independent professionals.
